As you know, I love travel. But if I couldn't photograph I feel to go naked as a blank page. The vacuum doesn't mean anything and doesn't make sense as that of the eternal fall.
For those of you who are wondering what materials I use, and why I made these choices, here's the list and the reasons:
Nikon D600: SLR digital sensor full-frame (24 x 36)
I hesitated between Nikon and Canon after eliminating all others either budget or design reasons. Finally, I opted for the Nikon because his grip, I have small, me is easier than with the Canon.
For Nikon lenses:
AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f / 1.4 G ED. This objective lens 24mm of outstanding quality is ideal for landscapes and allows to make long portraits control the Outlook (I particularly love this goal)
AF-S NIKKOR 16-35mm f / 4G ED VR. Wide angular zoom of very good quality I use in the city when the spaces are reduced. A master's degree of the perspective is essential.
AF-S NIKKOR 70-200 VR ED 1.4. Zoom polivalente of very good quality. I did not choose his little brother opening up to 2.8 because of its price and also because it brings a greater opening of a diaphragm (2.8 instead of 1.4) which is useful for low lights. I compensate by increasing the duration of exposure if necessary. For funds more blurred if the maximum opening is not sufficient, I digress the main subject concervant framing of origin, and the turn is played.
I still have concervé the zoom AF-S NIKKOR 24-85 of less good optical quality that came with the case during a promotion. It presents a vignetting on the short lenses at full aperture. On the other hand, it is compact, very light, and if you must go out ultra light, it is very nice.
I am not separated from my film camera that gives me an undeniable pleasure:
Contax S2 titanium. Mechanical for the development, openness and speed. Just a bit of electricity for the light meter built. The settings are mechanical, it is perfectly possible to measure light with an independent cell.
The objectives are:
Zoom 28-70 Carl Zeiss vario-sonnar 3.5-4.5 (landscape - city - report-portrait if you master the perspactives between 28 and 35 mm)
Lens fixed because Zeiss Sonnar 2.8 / 85mm (top for portraits)
Bronica ETR-Si. Film cameras medium format (4.5x6). I rarely use it. Its volume and weight make it a perfect tool for the studio but who is revelle a marvel if you decide to get out of the studio.
Goal ZENZANON-EP 40 mm (equivalent to a large angular 26 mm)
Goal ZENZANON-EP 75 mm (equivalent to a standard 48mm)
In addition, I have polarizing filters to reduce unwanted reflections and / or to increase the contrast of the sky. A tripod to take pictures at low speeds. A Flash and a light slab in diode to correct the unwanted shadows on the faces. All my goals are protected by a UV filter
I have my lab at home for devellopper analogue movies and draw pictures on paper.
